Beekeeping Seminar (Langstroth Hive) at Honey's Acres Farm

Trinity Haymarket and Honey's Acres Farm  will be hosting a beekeeping seminar on March 9th  starting at 9:30 am at Honey's Acres Farm located at 1350 Stoney Creek Drive Cedar Hill,  TX  75104. The in-house portion of the seminar will last 3 hours.  There will be short break for lunch and participants will drive out to Rowlett to an apiary for a hands-on field experience. Sack lunches for $5 each will be available  Christy Baughman is our guest lecturer and she is an experienced apiarist and former president of Trinity Valley Beekepers Association.  Bee suits will be provided for all participants for the afternoon session. The cost for the seminar is $70 and Christy recommends The Beekeepers handbook (not required for the class) but Trinity Haymarket sells the book for $30 plus tax.  This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in beekeeping or for the current beekeepers to broaden their knowledge.  There is a limit of 12 per class so if interetested you should RSVP asap at 214 202-2163 and/or email at: [email protected].  This has been one of the most enjoyable and recommended classes we offer at our store.
