This class covers general information that people interested in raising backyard chickens need to know to have a successful and healthy flock of hens. Topics included in the class include: evolution and biology of hens, housing and spacing issues, nutrition, benefits of raising chickens, predator and weather concerns. Cost of class is $10 per person or $15 per couple.
